I go to a tough school where you actually have to do work.  I know a guy who used to live in Fl and he did jack crap.  Had all A's and B's.  Now that he's here, he also makes a 2.83.

I  think that if you go to my school, 2.5-2.8 just says:  I do enough to get by, thats all.

how do you people manage to pull of 2.5 gpa's?  damn people, take your head out of your ass, bash it against the wall a few times... and actually do something with your life other than be rocks.

i myself currently have a 3.9952 (yes, to 4 decimals because there are 3 people which compete for class rank so we have to take it out that far to see who is where).

my parents still binsnartch about my grades.. and i don't exactly know why.... it's just one of those strange events in life.

i think someone needs a cookie....

some people just hate school  :roll:

thats all schools, not just that one.

The highest gpa in my grade is 4.563
...but next year I am gonna start staying awake, doing work, and maybe, just maybe, studying a little.

see, it takes a real rock to get a 2.5 and likewise it takes a true idiot to get past 4, it says you put too much time into school and not enough into a life.  studying does exactly nothing, I haven't studied since about 6th grade, it's not how much you study, it's how much you retain the first time through that will stick with you for the rest of your life, if you can't remember it after the first time, it's probably not worth knowing..

You mean parentheses?

Some people do need school, that's a fact...

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Evil, if I were to do those things, I could easily pull off all a's. It would cost me about one hour of game playing per day, and about an hour a day of sleep.

Well Vorter, at my school teachers count homework for 10%+ of your grade. Not oding it means 90 is the best you can get--that is if you canace every single other thing. Not gonna happen.

rofl only 10%?

You know..

eViL.. It depends on who you are talking about.. Some people need to study before they get anything down..

Some people can only learn from someone showing them how to do it.

Some people can only learn from reading it in a book.

It depends on the person.. I myself get things right away..

In the state of Florida, the highest GPA is 5.0.

It is almost impossible to get because electives don't have advanced classes..

The highest GPA I have gotten is 4.67 because I had 2 electives out of 6 classes.

highest for any school i have been at is 4.0.

at this school, it depends on which teacher as to how much of your grade homework is... like for some math teachers, 50%+ is homework... for english it can be as high as 85%.... so it just depends.

A=5
B=4
ect.

You can make a 4.33 if you have mostly honors classes at my school.

In some classes, homework is about 10% of my grade also, but in some classes such as my religion class, it is about 33.3% of my grade.  And my religion teacher only gives homework like once or twice a six weeks.  So if you forget to do your homework, your fugged.
