Section 1, Subsection E - Zone Hoarding/Blocking Question

This complaint/question has to do with two players with whom I came in contact with at Trav Den:  wickedbabe and FireWire.  

Here is the situation.  Wickedbabe was fighting at den to get exp.  I arrive to fight to get exp too.  Wickedbabe says something about how I need to fight at minos.  I being a level 51 or 52 non-remort ranger said, "all i need is one more level so that I will have enough skill points to get the repeatingcrossbow."  For some reason Wickedbabe found this unacceptable.  She wanted the monster all to herself.  I even offered to party up with her in order to get more exp, she ignored it.  Instead, she attacked me!  I ran and hid outside the den at first.  But seeing as I have a right according to your rules to fight there, I figured I would attack her back to show her that I wasn't gonna take any of her guff.  After the shooting her and running so to speak several times, she was ticked off.  I was willing to call a truce, but she called one of her dogs on me, FireWire.  As some of you may know both of these players, FireWire and Wickedbabe, are remorts.  After successfully evading both of their mediocre attempts at killing me, I thought I would call it a night.  

But here, let me quote you the rule verbatim:  

"Also, a player should not take an entire zone or zone subset for themselves.  Nobody owns the zone except for the NPCs that occupy it."  

Both FireWire and Wickedbabe are guilty of zone hoarding.  Let me also quote verbatim the various degrees of punishment for zone hoarding:

Punishments for Zone Hoarding:
1st Offense:  Warning issued and player must cease hoarding within 30 seconds.
2nd Offense:  Player must stop hoarding and a fine of up to 50% assets/gold can be taken.
3rd Offense:  Player may have his bank/holdings cleared and up to 20 minutes of jail.
4th Offense:  Player can be either kicked or temp banned should the need arise.

Obviously they didn't heed the first one.  The 2nd one would be appropriate however, seeing as it was not as severe as the most severe zone hoarding is.  Please punish Wickedbabe and FireWire by fining them some of their assets.  Thank you for your time.

I see wicked's point... you were above lvl 50... go to mino's... it's the easiest, most laziest, never getting hit, never having to worry about anything leveling in the darn game...

it doesn't matter what weapon you bring into there, you can still level... but since you are a non-remort, I take it that you are new, and that you might not have known this???  If that was the case, then let it drop... lol of course I'm no rule maker or justifier of any sort... so I just thought I'd throw in what I think about it

I agree with Ermac, doesn't matter.. he was a non remort.  He should be able to grab one more level at the den if he wants. (This is where my den add-on in my map would be useful =D)

Atleast he's an intelligent newbie... Unlike most who start spamming and screaming hoping to get their way.

always go to the lair.. as soon as u can.. its alot faster then the den... den = $hit lvling

I agree... Being a ranger my self, i know that Den is heaven... being abale to shoot the mosters thru the wall will get you your own hording attacks

Also rqueceing Heavy Crossbow Quarrels of the wall for 400 dmg is evil too. I have been yelled at plenty of times for shooting and lvl only by killing thru the wall.. If you are indeed a n00b, g/l on figuring maze out.

The only reason you are not dead is because fire did not want to kill you. If he really dead your guts would be all over the server and the forum. It is a standerd practice to go to mino at 50 and it is strickly kept by the peope n the den because they get pissed. At people who are takeing exp from them.  Sigh ok im done

What your or any others personal preferences are is irrelevant.
Rules are put there by Particle for a reason I believe.
You dont need to zone hoard, give the guy a break.  He will learn in his own time that it just pays to go to Lair anyway.  
Dood:  I suggest you take the weapon of choice with you and when you acquire the necessary lvl in lair, (about 10 times faster than Den), use it!
