Old computer parts

Hi all, I have a stash of very old computer parts lying around. Nothing is guaranteed to work, but if you're interested in taking anything, just shoot me a PM and we can work it out. I'd be happy to send it to you free of charge so long as you'd be willing to foot the bill for shipping. Otherwise I'm taking this stuff to the eRecycle dump in about a week.

Here's a list of parts:

4x 56k modems of various mfg'ing
1x 4mb ATI Rage Pro Turbo video card (AGP)
1x AG305-32 32mb video card (AGP)
1x ATI Radeon 7000 64mb video card w/ AV out (AGP), RV6SL-B2
1x Yamaha YMF179E-S sound card (ISA)

Additionally, I have a barebones computer available.
MB: MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
CPU: AMD Athlon II 3200? I think?
RAM: 3 GB DDR2

The MB may or may not be working due to a possibly damaged PCIe port. No physical damage, but I get a video error every time I try to boot it up, and I have tried with multiple video cards. However, it booted up properly just a few days before and there was no issue in the interim, so I'm not 100% sure of what it is.



Anyway, give me a holler.

I was thinking the same thing...  how much for all to ship?

I use parts like that for building amateur radio automation computers...

shipping all those parts at the same time would be a hassle, and probably a bit expensive unless I can fit them into a few Flat Rate shipping containers. I will need to purchase some more static bags, and I don't know how much those will run me.

Once again: I CANNOT guarantee or verify that these are functional. On the outside, they look physically unharmed, but they've been sitting in a wooden desk drawer for the better part of a decade so who knows what they've been through.

To ship them ALL....I could probably fit most of it into a Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate box, which will run you $12.35. I can probably fit about half of them into a Small Priority Mail Flat Rate box for $5.80. In general, that's what the rates will be if you want multiple items.

As for the barebones computer, that depends. Do you want the malarkeyty case that goes with it? Heh...I broke the original power switch on it, so I jury-rigged a spare light switch to take its place. You have to flip the switch "on" then "off" to emulate an ATX power button.

Second thought, I'm good. Thanks for putting this up and allowing everyone to look through your old parts before taking to eRecycle dump. :)

I'll be probably getting a new computer at the end of the year.

Figures :P

Arf, the ATI Radeon could easily run Tribes without problems. In fact, I first played Tribes (in the form of the demo) using the 400 MHz AMD CPU, so that might be something worth taking if you are looking to build boxes to run the bots.
