Actually, no matter what, a person's actions can't be blamed on anyone, but if anything I'd say the 666 pentagram (sp?) styling I hate everyone, go evil stuff, no one understands me attitude is what does it.  Such as marilyn manson, the slipknot guys, among others who were those kind of kids in the 80's, grew up and are teaching their new ideal's to the new generation of kids who feel unwanted or out of place expressing what the kids were thinking in approval, that they have nothing to lose.  If you have bad abusive parents that leads to that feeling of you are unwanted.  That built anger is directed towards everything they do, this stuff is not true with everyone, just things I've seen with different people I've known in my life.

You know, if you translate 666 into alphanumeric terms, it means emperor Diocletien August, who was the Emperor of Rome and was very oppressive.  When interpreted wrong, people think that there is this really ugly strange beast that will come to gobble them up.  No, Revelations was written in code, so that if documentation was found, it would look like a bunch of malarky, but could be spread with safety.

It was really a warning to the christians to not associate with the Romans.


Oh, and dont hate people.  Spread lub.  Mmmkay?

wtf, gimme proof.  666 has always been associated with satan or the number of the beast, pure evil.  If your thing is actually true I don't know, but I doubt anyone that refers to that number is talking about the oppresion of a Roman emperor named Diocletien August.

Uhh, lets see.  Diocletien August was emperor who was the first to really oppress christianity.  What more proof do you need?
