no, if u dont know what ur talkin about, please stop posting, i found the reason, and.. this isnt a "new card", its a geforce 2... why in the hell would that be new, the reason i found out because tribes uses glide, and on this old nvidia, it doesnt support it, but thats ok, next week ill have my comp fixed, and back with my radeon

Instead of flaming those that are trying to help, why don't you read the posts and follow their directions?

Oh, and by the way, ATI doesn't support Glide, either.

The DoDoDo.

UT was built with Direct3D, not Glide.

Yeah, I was amazed at how good the engine looked compared to the textures it used.

Though, the engine was forked up much like tribes..

Lately, I have been playing all the games that I used to play around 3-4 years ago.  Only game that I really really really wanna play but cant due to directx problems is Requiem: Avenging Angel.  God how I miss popping evil soldiers' heads off with the machine gun and turning them into pillars of salt.  So much fun.

If you have a system with only Directx 6 on it (nothing higher) download the demo.

Its a wonderful game, and it had more action in it (plus more interesting action to boot) than serious sam, and PC Gamer liked it.  The retail game has a patch for post dx6 systems, but the demo doesnt.
