As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Nope... the wad doesn't come with TribesTools, but if you look in your TRPG folder, you will find at least 1 .wad file for trpg textures I think... there are not many in it from what I remember, but it is a start... right?

Because you're having such a time with WC... maybe you should try out zed?  I think I made a .vol of all the tribes textures and a section on "my faq" a bout how to set up ZED to work with .vol and .zvl files for ZED.  The .zip of the .vol of textures comes with it's own .dml list as well, so all you have to do is unzip it to your texture directory, fire up zed, and point to the right place.  (more detailed help is in the link in my signature)

Check my signature link out... it's been at least a year since I updated it, but a deal of the info is still good, and there is a real world to zed world unit conversion chart at the bottom of the ZED Tutorial by Dynamix.

Adios!

Here's the info:

After you go HERE and download the texture volume for tribes rpg, then you will launch ZED (comes with the tribes tools pack, aslo available HERE) and enter the values shown below for each field.

Quote
How to set up ZED for the RPGtex5dml.vol file:
Pallete File: lush.day.ppl
Material List File: RPGtex5.dml
Pallete Volume File: C:\Dynamix\Tribes\base\lushworld.vol (if your Tribes was installed to the Dynamix\tribes directory)
Textures Volume File: C:\path\RPGtex5dml.vol (this file!)

I think this data is current... but I may be wrong.  Also, in the last step it says; "C:\path\RPGtex5dml.vol".  "path" is the path to where you put the RPGtex5dml.vol, for example; C:\tribesedit\zed\RPGtex5dml.vol used to be my old editing foler where this file was kept.

Good luck... ad if some thing does not work, let me know... I'll try to get to the bottom of it? ;-p

Thanks Lidge! I've tried ZED before, not much to my liking. I've found World Craft a lot easier (all except for the exporting!). But thanks for the help anyways!
