And we all thought that our world is better now than it was 50 years ago...I sure don't see it. Seems to me that a lot of people still have a lot to learn about getting along with eachother. Why is it so hard to grasp the concept of getting along with people who are different than you on the outside? I swear, sometimes I just don't get it.

Trust me, the world is many times "better" than it was fifty years ago. The only thing that makes it seems worse to the average media-stricken individual is the focus and the accessibility of negative news. Just because you hear more about bad things from your buddies and the dinner news doesn't mean the world is in a worse shape. Do some real research. Read information, not media.

the media loves to focus on 1 event and then every tv news channel and paper, etc... all are making articles about the same sort of thing... so it makes it seem like there is tons of that 1 event and it seems as though it has never happened before...

It Has.

oo.. a kidnapping... yea... they happen.
ooo... a murder!.. yea... they happen too.

There's nothing ever wrong but nothing's ever right
Such a cruel contradiction
