I am trying to set up my own RPG server that is not dedicated I rune the rgpserv.exe thingy and than tribes loads to not even the main menu and than crashs.... I tried everything I can think of and nothing works.... I really wish to make a RPG server of my own.... but how the heck am I supposed to when it won't work... also this is only when using the rpgserv.exe thing... I can still play tyibes and it never crashs... I can set up a dedicated server an it never crashs.... I cannot set up a NON-DEDICATED server without it crashing... could someone please help me with this?

Depends on your computer speed. But running a Tribes game and then hosting a server through tribes should load it up without crashing.

Why the hell would you run rpgserv.exe for a non-dedicated server?

rpgserv.exe is for dedicated servers only.

If anyone uses it for that they are idiots.

I almost added an extra sentence to my post, sans the "non-". 8)  I left it out because I figured it would have went over most people's heads.

Uhhhh cause I wanna be able to play on it without causing a lag storm... when it is dedicated it just gets to laggy... and if I try to set up a non-dedicated server normally.... there is no admin passwords :\

On the computer you host the server with, in the autoexec.cs...

Code: [Select]
$AdminPassword[1]="aaa";
$AdminPassword[2]="bbb";
$AdminPassword[3]="ccc";
$AdminPassword[4]="ddd";
$AdminPassword[5]="eee";
