To clear up a potential misunderstanding, Sinister is talking about letting his Tribes character auto-cast massheal in n00b zones when he is AFK. What makes it a "bot" is that said n00bs are able to interact with his character to get things like coins, or orbs of luminance.

This is not a bot to auto-level Sinister himself, and there is no direct benefit to him. It sounded like that may have been slightly unclear, lol

Well... if you don't gain any levels from it, and you don't violate any of the rules... I wouldn't see a problem with it other than the slot filling.

BUT... I only ever had one script, and it was Hazors auto-casting script (which I modified) which was used for the same purpose as you; to auto-cast and heal newb's while I sat here and ate food or drank some water or something else that was partially involving the screen, but didn't need my full attention to do.

I did monitor and move when needed as well... but it's not like I left my guy there afk for longer than 5 minutes at most.

I lost the script though... I think... accidental uninstalls of the wrong tribes copy = bad.

Sinister's bot is fine. It doesn't level for him, it helps players. As Sinister said before, he monitors his bot and informs people of proper syntaxual usage (which minimizes spam).

As for other bots, I don't think there are any bots nearly well coded enough to travel the environment and level from scratch.

This isn't a democracy.

I stated two main reasons why they won't be permitted. There is a third that is much more important than the first 2, but that won't be released due to the damage it can cause.
