Autoexec.cs (.txt) Cant get rid of the .txt after cs

Whenever I save autoexec.cs there's always the .txt after it that I cant remove.  Im not saving it as a text file im saving it as all files.

Put .cs  at the end and make sure you show "all files"  should work.

Open a folder.
Go to the "view" menu.
Click on "folder options".
Click on "view" tab. (at top of window edge)
Uncheck the "hide file extensions for known file types" box.
Click the "ok" button.

That should work.

Now the next step is to rename the file to autoexec.cs

Oo the file extensions hidden thing (Those words couldve been organized better) worked :)

or instead of saving files like that in the first place....

1. File
2. Save As...
3. Select "All Documents" instead of text document
4. Enter filename.cs
5. Save the file

and presto.. you have a file without the .txt ending....

Your words or mine?  I think mine were the most direct and clear I could have posted.

The other option is as Evil suggested, and was as I did it for years with my website, but I figure unchecking the box is just more foolproof at a later date.
