Ahem... No choice is made by any parent.  These are extra fertalised eggs which are not implanted in to the host mother.  She does have one or two or however many implanted, but the rest are not used, and are thus bio-waste, tossed away.

So, the ones used are extras that are not going to be implanted anyway, or so they say.

either i forgot to post or part deleted it heh.

I think therefore I am (human). A fetus is a molecular reaction and therefore has no conscious or is capable of thought. It does not think, therefore it isn't (human).

I'd rather see millions of peoples lives saved. and deal with the other problems. If there's a will there is a way. All it took was a guy willing to loose his life and learn how to fly a airliner to change the world (our world at least, and affect others), so how is stem cell research going to be anything special in terms of opening up a wave of terrrorism as its commonly argued.

 Its like halting humanities scientific progression by saying "oh their might be bad things ahead". Its also like arguing that your scalp is being attacked when you dye your hair and its inhuman to attack your cells as such. Doesnt hold much water. Its just about as rediculous as religion, but thats a whole other topic.

Stem Cells don't only come from embryos. Left-over stem cells can be had from various places in your own body, such as your spine.

The whole "ZOMG BABY MURDER11!!" argument can be dropped.
