You ignore the fact of how OLD cs is.

And people can get many, many higher poly models if they like.

I don't know.. I dug Unreal on the highest settings over Half-Life onthe highest settings.... and the game was much more fun than Half-Life.

I'm more referring to it by comparison, the cs team could easily afford to hire a better moddler/texture artist, but it still has mediocre looking graphics compared to its counterparts ont he same engine.

CS:Source looks a bit better, but i havent really seen enough screenshots to really be able to tell.

Models in CS:Source are less detailed than my CS models.  They're lacking.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Haha... yeah... all the current CS players I know are such because they tried CS:S and decided it was not as spiffy looking as the current incarnation... so our server stayed on CS instead of upgrading.
