Forum polls about whether or not the server should be cleared are a joke. We learned that lesson last clear: Far too many people who would have voted No never got the chance to, and far too many people who didn't even play on the server anymore voted Yes out of spite.

Any such poll in the future should take place in the server. *steps off his soapbox*

Clears don't solve problems.  Assholes with nothing better to do than exploit obvious boundries always screw it back up.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I agree with this post. But I think this time around, the 4000 exp cap instead of 1000 exp cap was so good that nobody bothered to dust to God

Yeah, it only seemed right to increase the cap and also the rate at which EXP is earned (yeah, you guys are getting boosted numbers) since it takes so much more to level.  What needs done is a dynamic cap put in place.  If you need say 400exp to get to the next level, make the cap 500 or something.  If you need 5000exp to get to the next level, make the cap 6250ish.  That way you can always earn 25% more than is required to make a level if you fight NPCs that are tough enough and perhaps party.
