Making the demonzone and ghettozone part of the server. Fix grankar and delkin(they arent zones anymore). We need more/different items. I've seen servers with plenty of new items without using the tab menu. I dont know how they did it but there were plenty of different items.

Ghettozone is already partially server-side. All that needs to be fixed with it is the bots. Delkin's store still works... no problem there. And people have learned to replace gran'kar with ancient crypt in their remorting process.

The real problem is *grinds his axe* admin spam issue :( lolz

I did mean make ghettozone fully server side. Same with demon zone. Delkin isn't so bad without a zone but grankar won't spawn the bots fast anymore. Once they die it takes awhile for them to come back. We shouldn't give up a zone that we once had. That would be going backwards in rpg development.

We need some other reason to play besides remorting. Have a server side quest bot that needs 500 estones to get into a new zone or something to get a rare item.

If you really want to bring new life into the server you will have to somehow create new items.  The only weapon people use to level is an anchets.  We need something rare to work for.

i think we need multiple weapons that are comparible to the anchets. so instead of everyone using the same weapon, theres a little diversity in the weapon style, damage amount, etc

If there are other servers with lots of items w/o using tab, I'll look into making a fix for an upcoming version of PCRPG.  If so, I'll add lots of diversity to our items.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I dig that idea.
this may be a long shot, considering how much work/memory it would take...but would it be possible to put a reputation system in the game? I was thinking for a larger scale, but on a small scale, your reputation could be different for each town/outpost, and it would give you access to more/less items depending on how good you are with town. I realize for this to be of any value, it would have to be implimented on a much larger scale, so.....how about add some more towns! :P or maybe guilds? A thieves guild, archers guild, sorcerers guild...each guild would have a house, and THEN you can impliment the reputation system more effectively.
