Agreed, though if it was mine... my dad would be elated... and my mom sad.
hehehe :-D

Ahh well... we do what we enjoy... or what we are good at... or what we need to do in order to be able to enjoy.

Peace!

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Sure you would, but the people who build every structure you will ever live in won't since you pay them 6 times the amount it actually cost them to build it.

The construction business is one of the only fields that will never ever become useless or less valuable.  You might think that it would be easy to build a house, or easy to build a factory or warehouse, but the fact that only certain people are willing to do it will make it totally worthwhile.

My dad started in construction as a kid, and ended up as a project engineer.  He has been a drunken asshole alcoholic for the past 8 years, and has had absolutely no problem getting a job that pays 6 figure salaries at any given time.  He went from job to job, probably 3 different jobs a year, but even though his RECENT record has been malarkeyty as hell, all his experience has given him the opportunity to work at whatever big corporate construction he wanted to.  I'm not exactly proud of it, but the fact remains that the construction business is booming and will be until there isn't any space on the planet to build upon.

villman probably finds it funny for the same reason I do: koro is a scatterbrain that can't seem to make his mind up (and koro has also always been a rah rah computer/space guy).

if memory serves me correctly, vill is in some sort of trade himself...so lay off with the hate 12stones.

Leave it to me to be over-analytical..  a personality trait I find to be beneficial and non-beneficial at the same time.  I'm used to it.

i dont know...im not even sure if that's for me. Wiring sounds fun and stuff..
What would be really cool is if I could do the wiring or something else in things like airplanes or in the construction of the next generation of space craft (for the moon missions, etc) though I assume that would be Electrical Engineering...then again, it might not be, because engineers design the stuff...i want to put it together...

electrical engineers design the wiring for the item.

theres a couple "computer nerds" who do low voltage electrical for company im with. meaning they run all the phones, coax(cable for tv), central vac, home audio, internet wire, security, etc.
