Seeing as we have synthetic oil, I wonder what else we can make....

The lead just isn't quite as drastic.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

NFY with the current exchange rates if it is $0.79USD/litre then it might not be paying more, in Vancouver it is very overpriced but in a couple provinces where the gas tax isn't like $0.5/litre I hear the prices are about $0.80/litre.  Then again I think Canada should hoard all the oil from Alberta for themselves  and make the prices cheaper for us

Expensive is relative. It was $1.70 a gal a few years ago. Now its $3.00 a gallon. Why? Why did the price almost double? Is there a reason? I don't know of one. So it pisses me off that I have to pay it.

OPEC and the fear of "running out" of fuel because OPEC puts a restriction on the amount of oil which can be pumped out of the ground and if you take into account that China is growing very very quickly(I heard a city the size of Vancouver a year) you get a lot more people who use gas which drives up the prices.  But that is just speculation
