Hubba's in Minnesota. The ice gets thick enough to drive on, it's pretty common. I once took a tow camper out on the ice, with a hole cut in the floor, and went ice fishing. Was pretty nice, all warm with hot chocolate and snacks, catching fish. Ice fishing is fun.

The ice is about 2 to 2 1/2 feet thick now.  The temperaure has not gone above freezing at night since new years and the highest the temp has been is 38 degrees. We still have like 10 inches to a 1ft of snow on the ground from the snow that dropped since new years. No snow on the lakes though cause it has all blown off from the wind. Just ice.

Ice fishing is fun. It is not like what people would think it would be. I have a little portable house that we drag out on the ice and a little heater that I spark up inside and usually the temp inside the house is probably like 65 to 70 degrees. Next time we go out I will have to take pictures and let you guys see.

That would be great.  The only ice fishing I've ever seen is from Grumpy Old Men and an episode of Home Improvement.  :)

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Haha, lucky you! Down here, just three hours away, it's been almost exactly the opposite. We just ended more than a month of 'above average temperatures.' It was nearly into the 50s. We just got the first snow we've seen since Halloween, about 6 inches. It's pretty nice out today, snow's melting  :?
Still, people are out ice fishing! Can't drive out yet, but you can sit in the wind.

We are just going to have to take you out of Kansas Particle, and make you come see me and Bonzai and go ice fishing. We have like 5 lakes within 10 miles of the house.
