Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Get rid of AIM while you are at it.  I finally killed it--talking to a few people isn't worth the trouble it caused.  It isn't really adware, but every time ANYTHING happens, it'll minimize whatever you are doing and then make sure you notice the dialog box/chatwindow/whathaveyou.  Every time I was disconnected or somebody would chat with me, it would minimize my game if I was playing one (rip me out of my zone) and shove the god-awful window if front of me as if to say "read it, unsavory woman!".

Good bye and good riddance, AIM.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Yeah Particle, but I kinda like it that the chat thing pops in front of whatever you are doing (except when in game), because sometimes I run with speakers off, and it would take me several minutes to realize there is somebody talking to me.  Yeah, and you can set it where your away message hides all windows, and they wont pop up and take you out of a game.

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't already know that.

Expect a harsh reply.

Anyway, I agree, I hate AIM almost nearly as equal.  Also, when I'm feeling kinda anti-social, AIM pisses me off because people I don't really want to talk to my family (aunts, uncles, grandparents).  I rarely use it anymore because I figure the only friends I really care about are the close ones to me.  If anyone else wanted to contact me, they could just send an e-mail.
