NEWS on the CLEAR!

Alright everyone, your hearing it officially right now--the clear is happening tommorow night at midnight.

Particle was in the server today, and asked for honest opinions on whether or not to wait till July 10th, or to do it now.  The general populus said that people feel like playing now is just a waste of time since a clear is happening soon!

So, the clear is planned for tommorow night at midnight!  Get on today and PK all the people your mad at, because it just might be your last chance! :)

*edit* And he will be adding new things as he completes them, from what I gather.. so expect new additions and updates to the server as they are completed!

Also, the new leveling system will be in place starting at the clear!

*edit*  I would assume EST time, and you will have to ask him about your character pass!

It's hard to get in contact with him. And I want to start as soon as the server is reset, hopefully I can have it fixed by then.

Hey is that Suzuka from .hack//sign?

I'll be using Pacific time unless I'm not awake by then.  I'm in the central time zone, but I am wanting this to go as smoothly as possible and allow the most "fun" time possible.  Enjoy.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Im not sure, but I wouldn't think too long..  there aren't THAT many characters (plus the character files themselves are fairly small).  The thing that will take the longest is implimenting the experience system and making sure it works..  but Particle is very experienced in this matter, Im sure it will be a smooth transition.

I thought nothing but the stats were going to be erase. Everyone would still keep their name and password. That's what I was told I could be wrong.

The names and passwords are staying, you don't have to make new names.  Particle is making a script that will just clear everything but the names (at least thats what I gather from what he said) but I KNOW the names will stay.
