I've programmed an app that will go through all the character files and rewrite them with just the username, password, and blank stats.  Total estimated down time:  5 minutes.  It takes longer to load the file names (~10 seconds for 500 characters) than it does to clear them (~2 seconds). :)

If I have time, it might even be able to fix characters that are currently "chopped" or in other ways "broken".  ...which gives me a great idea for an automated character repair that could run say twice a day every day.  Once at noon and once at midnight.  Hmm, beta team get ready.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Actually... that character is from a korean game called "Magna Carta", hes a guy named Calintz. Good artwork in that game, i dont think its coming stateside though...
