The New EXP system..

Alright, here is what I gather so far from the new EXP system at remort 0.

In the beginning levels, its cool.. you level fast.  Once you hit 40, its kinda slow.. not too bad though.  Once you hit 60.. well, thats a different story.. EXTREMELY slow!

I can live with the exp at 60, but now that Im at 85..  it's like trying to level at minos at remort 0 on a level 100 char.. but even slower.

The new system is cool and all, but its too steep.. well, more like a wall..  It's going to take waayy too long to get a remort!  I know the remort is gunna be beefed up, but still..  this is EXTREMELY slow at 85!  I think it should be made a little easier to get EXP at this level..  minos give very little compared to what I need to level.  I get like.. 200-600 max from minos (usually more like 150-200) and I need 10k+ to get a level.. and thats at 85.  Think of 90, or even 95!

Not trying to whine, but this is just my perspective on things.

It is fine LW.. that is why you are there ot make quests to make up for that EXP.

That's gunna be alot of quests o_o

200k exp gives like 10 levels when your that high lol

EXP system is fine.  You're not supposed to be able to remort in a day.  You've all lost sense of remorts.  One a week is really too much.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Put back in the original exp leveling system. 1k for level 1, 2k for level 2, etc.

That was when I had my most fun. Go up to like level 13 or 14 and use airfist to launch people into the sky. Ah, the good ole days.

I see, that's fine.. I guess im just so used to the old system that this one seems near impossible o_O  I guess it's for the better in the end, anyways!

Gives you something to do, anyway.  There are still people that managed to remort in under 24 hours.

It's linear, though--it's not like it's raising more and more when you get up there.

Heh, I remember one time I actually did play trpg for 24 hours straight.  It was a day my parents were out of town and so were my neighbors, so I had nothing to do.  I actually fell asleep at the computer and woke up with keyboard marks on my face.  I didnt get pked for some reason lol.

Heh, that reminds me of something. Once I was staying up really late doing some generic English paper. It was crackdown time, so I had been staying up late the past few days, also. I guess I couldn't take it anymore, because when I woke up the next morning, my ass still half on the chair and my body on the floor, I had a huge welt right in the middle of my forehead.

My sister said she heard a huge thud and came down to find me on the floor...

I need a computer small enough to be able to type in class without the teacher noticing.  PDA's just dont do it for me (was kicked outta engrish class for typing a paper in there on PDA).

I also wanna find a small keyboard, like the size of the Xband keyboard (online gaming thing for Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo).  That would look so badass if I could find a connector to connect that to my pc.
