Ok, I'm getting really fugging pissed at Red, AKA Jevd. He keeps shoving me into ubers, then targetting me, PKing me, over and over again, so I can't get my pack, and its a real damn piss off, PLEASE do something about this arsehole

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

i have a question.
there is a character named general who is pking all the lowbies on the server. he is claiming that he has the right to as long as he doesnt do it more than 3 times.
now, i had been led to believe that that was only relevant to house kills. now, am i right in assuming that non-remort lowbies who are not members of any house are off limits to pk from higher levels who just feel like killing people?

If you take these rules from Particles page and apply them you see that what General is doing is not acceptable. He is not to kill more than 20% under his lvl and more than 3 times in the 24h's. He should be talkted to..

Actually, it is like 35% or so... and coded into the game itself.  This guideline cannot be violated by design.

Well i've noticed a lot of lvl 100 or so ppl are able to target like lvl 10's-50's and that range or so. Well might be the lower ones targeting them an they take advantage and kill em. But i wouldn't know so thats my guess.

he is using mimic. i think this bypasses the code disallowing you to do it. at least he was mimiced when i saw him doing it.

It only blocks targeting by design.  I don't really want to include it into the damage code, because I wasnt houses and such to be able to fight at any time.  If you join up, you're taking a risk and you know it.

Thats the rub of it. he is using mimic to pk players who are not in houses just for the sheer fun of ruining the fun for others on the server. from what we have discussed, he is MAJORLY breaking the rules and should be "talked to" next time he does it to you, be sure to get screen shots. (i could kick myself for not thinking of that when he did it to me  :oops: )
