PCRPG Voice Chat room.

I thought it would be a good idea if we all downloaded Roger Wilko and we could communite using our Mics.  But we would need Someone to host this room as my connection isnt fast enough.  We tryed this idea with tribes before and it was soo great. Im surprised it hasnt been done here before.

I think I might host it this week.  Everyone can take turns.  I will host, but I need to know how much bandwidth it will take up.

Ok i got it working now.  

The channel is: 192.168.0.136:3782/particle  (copy and paste that whole thing.

Password is: particle

ok roger wilco has viruses delete it immediately

does anyone remember Mplayer thats what roger wilco is it has viruses that can melt your HD please dont use it

use at your own risk but i fried a hd using it before

LoL, i was one of the early Mplayer users.  First i was Electricninja9000, then I was Iceman.  I dont ever remember a virus, and for all I know the computer I played it on is still perfectly good.

The logical explanation for your computer crapping out on you would be a virus from something else, or a bad HDD.

and try http://www.ventrillico.com or something like that, dont' remember what it's called. Basically, it's voice chat, much like IRC.

Team 5150's TeamSound is much better. From my OGL days, I remember it had quality twice that of Roger Wilco's, and took up half the RAM and bandwidth. I don't know where it is, just look for it.

Ok, after installing teamsound, go here: http://www.teamsound.com/ and on the right side of the screen, under news, you will see "Test TeamSound Using Our Server!"  Click Server 1.

That will connect you to the teamsound server.

The name of the channel is PCRPG.
