Yes, Tribes 2 is missing that definite Tribes 1 feel. The blocky graphics make the engine appear very crisp and definite. Something about the way the code is hiding right under the thin line of graphics too makes me happy, because you can pretty much do anything but autoaim from the console in game. It's exciting. Tribes 2 is soft, and hides the code a little bit more. It's not as much fun as Tribes 1. It just doesn't feel the same. Too squishy if you ask me.
