Spoils of War!

Today some of my "Spoils of War" have arrived.  Say hello to the newest addition to my system:

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

Better hope that warranty covers normal use, otherwise they will try to bs you into not being able to rma those when they break down a year from now.

Naw, Jason Xero's tellin the truth.  My 20gig WD has been in use for nearly two years, and a week ago it made this awful groaning noise that made me nearly jump out of my skin.

It's possible that it was a bearing wearing in.  They can take over a year some times and make a funny sound when it happens.  It's usually nothing.

120GB per--5 120GB WD1200JB's in my system total now.  640GB of total storage in my computer; 2-2.5TB of space across the network.

Thats more space than I know what to do with.  I am only using about 15 gb of space on my HDD per format.
