I downloaded a perfect copy of the movie on kazaa.  And I must say, it is a damn fine movie.  Nice directing, compelling story, yet I was depressed the way it ended.

When I first started it up, I was hoping for a comedy, oh well.  Nice movie still.

Tonight me and Frank the Rabbit are going to stay up and talk about you guys.

Damn.  I just watched that movie and it is really sad at the end.  Good movie...  Hate to say it, but it got me some tears in my eyes at the end  :'(

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Yes Jason, but what happened was this geneology was severed when Donnie Darko killed himself.  You are right Shorty, but still, I wish she wasnt run over at all in the film.

What year was it made?  It definately wasnt 1988 when it was filmed.

It was made in 2001. Donnie didn't kill himself...  The plane crashed into him or something...

Yeah I know but he basicly killed himself because did you see the way he was laughing as the jet engine fell on his body?  He knew that it would happen because he did this on purpose.

Something that boggles me though, how the hell did that plane reach the speed of light?

It was just the turbine engine that went through the wormhole.  What I don't understand is, Frank is really resonsible for the whole thing, had he not let Donnie live, he never would have killed Frank in the first place.  After all, the only reason he was down there was because of the old hoot that knew about time travel, and he had to be there at a certain time...

Ok, so it was the turbine engine.  But what im wondering is, how was the turbine engine able to reach the speed of light?

I think it was the guy with the mullet's fault that all that malarkey happend.   Think about it, if he hadnt cut his girlfriend and thrown her into the road, she wouldnt have died and not have been run over.  See?  Its that bastard's fault.  Wonder why Frank the rabbit didnt tell him to kill mulletman?

Mebbe Frank was testing Donnie to see if he would kill him or not.  And that Frank was just a death incarnate  8)
