Triton, Paritcle's being a nice guy, he's hosting a server for people to play on. He doens't have to LIKE the game just to host a server. You can host the server but not play the game, and if I where him I think I'd hate TRPG too, just from all the spaming of #tell's he gets when logging on.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Triton isn't just ignorant, he is arrogant too. You might want to look that word up so you don't make yourself look worse than you have.

Let me explain this in terms you might understand...

Particle host a server.
Particle pays out of his own pocket to host this server.
Particle likes to code.
Particle uses his web site he pays for to enhance his coding experience.
Particle has the ability to modify the code in a game.
Particle modifies this code so other people can put it to the test.


Is that any better?

Part does pay for all of this out of his own pocket. You guys should treat him with a little more respect. Same goes for ozzy and the other admins. They have a thankless job and do a good job at it to protect us who are unable to protect ourselves.

Ozzy does seem "mean" a lot and is not afraid to use his "power" in any way he sees fit when he wants to. He also has no qualms about telling peeps off.
However, there are lots of peeps who get "mean" when tired or tired of listening to crap, he has every right to be. you have no rights to try to control his personality type. I have found that some of my best freinds have that sort of personality and they are the ones i would  (and have on several occasions) trust with my life because i know they will watch my back and use their personality to benifit me when its crunch time.
he was given admin by part for a reason, he does the job. If you dont like how he does it, go elswhere. its parts server, he can do as he wishes.
about telling peeps off, refer to my rant about personality types, he has every right to do it just as you do. if you arent good enough with words to make a convincing argument dont blame it on him. not many of us have been able to outtalk him and i am sure its frustrating to those of you who cant.  :)  get over it, it will be ok.

heh, i didn't really read most of this post, but just wanted to say the reason we use moles is because a mole of atoms weighs the same in grams as an individual atom's atomic mass. This is, however generally the same as the number of protons (being a particle) as electrons don't weigh too much...i think...it's been a while since chemistry

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.
