Bashing Bots

Particle is there any way you can keep ppl from bashing the bots off the map??? Draak and I are both trying to lvl, I'm lvl 121 and horts aren't giving good exp. Soo...we go to centuria to find the knight like in the rocks but in unknown and you can't cast on them when they are like that and it's really gettin aggrivating. (nice run on sentence, dontcha think? :) ) Ok done unsavory womaning now but I really wish there was something that can be done about it. Thanks.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Could allways follow the bash the bot and you your self get bashed policy. Like i implamented.... lol  :-X

Part, maybe what you should do is write some code that checks on the bots every 5-10 minutes, and if they are past a certain point off o fthe map, they should be #killed, or something along those lines.

lol khorne we tried bashing ourselves to the spot i tracked it to but couldn't find it.  :-/

What i mean is bash them in return for bashing the bot not trying to kill the bot dur!  :D

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

That's what I thought but everytime I asked him/her (2 different ppl play) they would deny it ever happened. So see where i'm having the problem of pointing fingers? Can't trust most ppl these days.  :-/

Might have to make a bash log that records who bashed who and when on what IP.

Its a good idea, but think about this.  Pretend you were a n00b again, with only an anchets sword and barely any Ocasting.  Remember how long that took to kill that first knight?  That could get frustrating.  I say every 20 min.

Dar, what i think he means is that if a bot is out of a zone, or is a certain distance past its spawn origin, it gets auto-killed.
