Heres what I would do.  Get a bunch of loans from banks, and start your own ISP.  Start small in your hometown, offering high speed cable and broadband over your newly purchased T3 line.  Then, once you take over that town, move on, like the zerg, searching for new hosts.  Expand your service from one T3 node to several.

Wait, why am I telling you?!  I dont need any more competition lol.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

There's already too many ISP's for this town.  Only 12,000 people here.

If I were to host, though, my packages would not be gay.  I would offer something like a 2.5Mbit/512Kbit package for normal users and make an easily available hosting package.  Perhaps 4Mbit/1Mbit or even 1.5Mbit.

In a town like this, a 155Mbit OC3 could of course handle all my customers, the majority of which would send little data.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

You live around yokels that use AOL?  Heh, I can imagine them, as I see my friends.

They log on, "Look, Ima Surfin the intrenet Duuuuhhhhh!"

I critisize all aol users.  Every time I try to read their profile, and it says that AOL profiles are not accessible to aim users, I use my Methodus tools prog and mess with their heads.

Of course, only tards are fooled by methodus, and I know alot of tards.
