Then the NIC needs drivers.  Everything needs drivers.  End of discussion.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

doesnt have to be USB... can be connected to ethernet port where it doesnt ask for drivers or anything.... like mine  :D

Ugh, dude, the PS2 does not come with an ethernet port!  Thats why I said you need to buy one.  And ozzy said that there would be no need, cause he said it does not need USB drivers.

Did you even read the thread?

GTA III was nice, but I cant say it is a must have, since it DOES get boring after a few hours of play.  GTA III Vice City is alot more fun, so you can say it is a must have.  But... I cant really think of any more must-haves.  You might like Medal of Honor, but thats on Xbox and Gamecube (obviously better on them).

PS2 had kinda a weak E3 lineup, I think.  Alot of platformers, again... and your usual assortment of sports games.

All ps2 games suck.
After a day of playing both GTA3 and Vice city, I just ended up trying to fly the damn plane in gta3, and in vice city I just went around crashing motorcycles, I was so bored o.o

Cable Modems don't need drivers..

None at all..

You seemed to mean all cable modems in general, though.

Well, I got Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 - I plan on taking it back, dont know why I bothered, I might try Midnight Club 2

I also got Harvest Moon: Back To Nature, it's PS1 though, but it made me fall in love with Harvest Moon all over again. :D

I loved Harvest Moon for N64, and it looked even cooler on PS1.

I played the origional Midnight Club.  It sucked ass.  I dunno if u should bother with the second either.

There are some really nice games for PS2.

Not to mention Square is going to stay with Sony.

So far, the N64 version seems like a super watered down version of what's on the PS1. It's weird though, because while they use the same character models or whatever, they're all different people. For example, the mailman in the N64 version, is the mayor's son and the policeman in the PS1 version. Dunno, it's just kind of weird. And you can raise fish and stuff in PS1, and in PS1 I think the field is a little bigger, you have to buy upgrades to your tools (I'm not sure if you can just magically upgrade them like in N64 and other versions), you can get farm help from elf things or something, and I think there are more vegetables and stuff...
