Ways to connect

Hi everyone. I play tribes quite a bit but i am new to rpg-None the less I have a question that probably will be referred as a stupid one to many of you! Here it goes. I always log into tribes and use the server list that it gives me. I from time to time cant find certain servers. Whether they are down or not I do not know. Is there a way somewhere to type in the server address manually if so where and how. I know that in Counterstrike you can do this but im not sure how to in tribes. Please help. Kendril :?:  :?:

1. enter console: ~
2. type connect("IP:216.224.234.78:28001");
3. press enter.

p.s. - that is the connection to connect to the real PCRPG server
