Well I'm in FL so the power outtage didn't affect me, but I just flipped to CNN and saw the huge swarms of people walking on the streets of nyc since they couldn't use the subways and stuff.

I dunno.  It was from a helicopter and I guess they have their batteries or whatever.  Damn just thinking about so many people just being on the street.  It's nuts!

Yeah I just heard about it on ABC news channel.  Its crayze there.  Luckily they get their power on within 48 hours (they said).

Anybody know why this happened?  It wasnt because of that virus, they said...

The Canadian prime minister was the first to say it was from a 'lightning strike' but it was utterly false information as the workers at the plant clearly knew it was not from a lightning strike.  Not only that, but there were no storms anywhere near the plant that supposedly had a fire.

I've heard some theories, but the EMP one sticks out the most.

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).
