Hello,

  It's been quite a while since we've been on the comm. but I figured I'd post and say hello again.  I haven't played any RPG in the last 4 months... I got a job and I've just been darn busy with doing nothing but zoning.  That requires a lot of brain power that would normally be used on trying to mod up tribes rog or help someone else do it.  I must admit that all the stuff I have up needs to be updated but as I said... time!  heh.

  I wasn't ignoring you when I didn't check my PM's on the IS forums... I just have never used them :-/

  Anyhow... Hersh directed me here after a while, and I thought I had registered under Alcoholic 007 back in november or december of last year or something... but it doesn't look like it :-)

  I went back to Particles to see if anyone I knew was there and found out the server was wiped... so all my 8's died :-p  too bad! :-D  I don't have much time to play with them any more anyway unfortunately :-/

  Hersh tells me he's a workin' at a good Auto-CAD job makin' the cash.... though the hours are crazy.  I spotted him on some server he's helping mod and he showed me some cool stuff a few days before the IS forums went down.  (will they be back???)

  Anyhow, I felt bad about not seeing your PM's until just about 5 days before the IS forum went down and not stopping by to compliment your pants... which reminds me...  Hey Pecker!  Nice Pants! ! ! :-)

  Good to see some people are still around... even if it's all the jerks ;-) (kidding!)

  Anyone doing anything cool with TRPG modding lately?  I've been too busy to be serious about a damn thing... and unfortunately my brain doesn't remember language for scripting unless I am constantly using it... so I am totally lost on much of TRPG scripting any more. :-)  (not that I did much more than make the quest scripter which was indeed usefull, though not really nescessary for anything)

Anyhow... Good to see there's still some TRPGers out there... adios!

ALC!!!!! Great to hear from ya. I did get a pm from ya like a month after I sent the first one replying back to you which you'd sent a few weeks before lol. See how often I go to the IS forums? Didn't even know they were down. So don't feel bad  :)

ANyhow... you'll probably see us hanging around whatever forum here does the modding type stuff... like "assistance" type forums. ;-)

Good to see you actually post here though! :-D  I know a lot of tribes servers that I went to the forums of and the owner or admins never posted!  It was uber lame! ;-)

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Since particles is the only RPG server I have really played in for the last 2 years... I think it makes sense that I post here... eh?

I only stopped 2 or 3 months a go at that :-)

What's with the |=uck bein' changed to fork?  It's strange! hehe.


In any case Particle I don't know if I ever actually saw you in your own RPG server.

The name I went by was 0ne0fThe8  (spelled 8 different ways for each class of character.)

It's possible... but I never connected my Alcoholic007 and Lidge Farkley name to that name to anyone except for Pecker, Krillin, and Evil-idiot (drunko.)

It's been a while though... :-)

I thought to mention your name in that long winded post, but I remembered only seeing you in Particles 2 times and thought it wouldn't make much sense. ;-)

I wonder..... if we could influence Particle to add our entire line of topaz hygeine and family fun products?!?  ! !

I'm in the same boat as you though... a lot of other stuff to do... as particle said in a pm to me "you might want to update the credits on your site" ;-)  I wish I had solid time to focus on that.  It's so much earier too zone out on CS for an hour though.

hmmm...!!!  DOes seem farmilliar... but I helped out everyone I ran into on UBG... so you could have been an age old player or a brand new beast.

Your name is sounding well known... but I have known of other creeping death in regular tribes, and, some dude on a tribes forum had it on his sig... even though he wasn't creeping death!  (so I attribute it to him a lot)

Anyhow... it's nice to have that warm fuzzy feeling of past friends and foes (yeah right... haha) of the TRPG universe :-D  I got along with Celtic more than anyone else did... or at least we never had a fight, he gave me stuff, I gave him stuff, and I would get the "newbs" outta trouble with him in a lot of cases.... it was a strange way to be. :-)

I don't blame it for doing so :-p

I think the first time I ever saw you in Particles you just tryed to start fights with all the lower levels who ganged up on you and chased you around the level (cause you were not a very high level though better than most of them)

Of course... I looked on for a little while, then went back to mining my TOPAZ fortune and killing the orcish beasts.
