Don't know why or how and they aren't back at the same address either.

Adios!

Gotta love SBC with their 6Mbps tier for 45$
(Yes, on their site it only shows 3Mbps, but it is actually 6Mbps, I would know :)).

Jason, Dynamix had NO choice, they didn't leave tribes, they were forced to, get your facts straight.

Well I sure as hell didnt want IS to die. I have been working hard on it and making various things. I had just about finished http://http://www.freewebs.com/oddworldtrpg/delkinport.htm Delkin Port when all this happened. I sure hope someone does something to get it back going again....

Hey Goodie!  Long time no see, bud!

IS is a victim of bad leadership and organization, not really anything else.

Hang around, I'd love to have ya.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Goodie:

You should work on some dis's for Particles server eh? :-D

I think that would be cool, and I agree that I still don't get what happened just recently... you seemed to be getting a lot of visual stuff completed.

If I knew how to code t2 and had the game and had the time, I'd up a site in IS's vision... call it something else, and have at thee!

Yes, that'd probably be wise to no longer call it IS.  If it is under the same name, I have a bad feeling that the bad luck would follow.

If you all want it to get done, you need a good leader and people that actually want to get things done (not people that just want the title, if it still means anything at this point).  If you're going to keep the current devs, setup tasks and reasonable deadlines.  If they don't finish, kick them out.

Now, if you want to form a new dev team that's dedicated I don't believe deadlines would be needed.  Just setup tasks.  It's organization that's really killed IS over the *cough* years.

What you need is someone that has nothing to do with the coding to organize it all; that way, he's more of an arbitrator than an actual leader.

Reading that sentence sounds like I'm hinting at something, but I'm not. I couldn't have worded it any different...

Well, I thought it was self-explanatory that all people devoid of intelligence shouldn't get the position.
