XB-70... a supersonic bomber that never made it into service because one: it cost a lot
two: there was a huge accident when they were taking a photoshoot
three: it cost alot
four: it had no stealth rating at all
five: it cost a shizt load
six: the russians developed a missle that could intercept it
and seven: it cost a whole damn forking lot

It'd be amusing if a plane was designed for the largest radar signature possible... Would be very useful as a decoy...

see the square intakes? those give off a huge radar signature, the engines give off a huge infrared reading.  it was a supersonic bomber capable of carrying a tactical nuclear bomb with russia's name on it.  althought yeah a plane with huge radar signature and infrared reading would be a good decoy
