How can a rpg server have 255 people? o.O That would be awesome though.

Just cause the maximum is 255 doesn't mean it can hold that much..

just like on a car if the speedometer goes up to 210 it doesn't mean the car can go that fast  :roll:

That would be cool ..... but at the same time it would be out of hand. Imagine 100 people PK'ing,Mugging,or even just talking

I think Tribes 1 only supports 64 players.

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

It basicly supports 64 players..

Through serious coding, it has been able to go up to 128.. But It isn't possible to go higher than that.

What game has ever had 255 players in there at the sametime. Heck for the matter how many games have had at least a hundred? None that I've played. Anybody else have a different experience? If so which game and how many on the server?

Just wait until December 1st. Rune3d Beta will come out and anyone who's a member can join the beta. Have you seen the screenshot's for it? It's like 50 times better then RS right now.

The total i've seen all server's together hold is over 18k people. There's like 1-22 servers, all can hold 1300 each or something.
