I played it today. it was boring. so i just went to a duel mod instead. I got owned the 1st 2 times then i got a 5 wining streak and left

Someone should make a mod focusing on the Tribes vehicles.. like maybe have a mod where you can't get out of your vehicle and you have to duel in the air. I always loved flying around shooting at other planes.. but players on the ground would always destroy my vehicle.  :oops:

i was a great pilot, i used to love flying in and out of the bridge haha, i remember i found a way to have as many people as you wanted into one scout LOL! only thing was they couldnt get out till you did.

I've played most of the Tribes mods that are out right now. The only mod that I liked most was Annihilation, though. Base was pretty fun, too.

Done...  It was called TribesRacer, and I had it zipped up some place....... but not on this drive.  There was only one level and it was the demo level for the piloting map.

Also, there is a mod out called TAC (Tribes Arial Combat I think) and it is an apc based game, though the pilot doesn't shoot at all, just flies.  The crew must repair and fend off other offending apc's.  If you touch the ground.... you die!  I really like this mod, but it got too full of people who couldn't figure out how to work as a team.

Anyhow........  There are more mods on tribes than any other game I have heard of (unless you consider UT mutators mods... there are a crapload of those)

UG is right--a good base player can beat anyone at their own mod unless the base player just doesn't know the weapons.  I already proved it to several people in the server--they were pretty humble after the demonstration.  ESPECIALLY ultra ren and its variants--anyone who plays LD in base and has skill with laser can own UR players..

*sniffle* never knew there were so many base players here ..

I would also have to agree with ozzy... except pecker can out snipe me in her mod.. most of the time  :cry: ... but ive never been a sniper... Disk and Nade is all I need... and sniping is usually frowned apon in a duel

It was great; I haven't played any other tribes mod besides RPG for atleast 5 months.. and I got on a duel server and was owning with the default weapons.  :D

Ok..ok...this hurts to admit but Ken owns me in base duel lol. I hate dueling and I hate base so...bleh. lol
