As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

I can add AOL to the list of unacceptable emails.  I doubt we have a lot of AOL Tribes players around here.

I'm thinking of inverting it and only allowing email addresses from certain domains that we've certified as non freemail hotels.

Did it have to do with his threatening conversation that I posted and was subsequently deleted?

It doesn't matter why he was banned..

We all know he was annoying, and all he did was start trouble with other people.

All that was needed to know is that he was banned.

Now let me look through my cd's..

I can add AOL to the list of unacceptable emails.

Please don't.  It's the only e-mail account I have because all the free accounts went under or filled to the rim with spam.  I think Hersh might be running under aol as well... though he may have had an update (I can not remember) to some thing better since I last aked.

I don't use my aol for aol, just for the e-mail part.  It would be a major pain in the ass to go and get an other account from an e-mail provider that doesn't send "bulk" mail all the damn time.

Also, I do have DSL hookup though an other ISP, but my dad doesn't want me to make an e-mail account on it due to his conviction that I am not going to be living here too much longer and would have to change it again when I moved.  Hence, I stick with an AOL account because they are a semi-global ISP and I don't see their company folding any time too soon (which means as long as I pay I will have an account.)

I know it seems like I'm being ripped off by aol, but that's life and I don't want to hear why I should change or why I am an idiot.  Thanks.

I hope you won't put them on the unaccepted list.  AOL was the only ISP I could get at my house for the first 3 years I played tribes.

Guys, it doesn't ban you if you already have an account.  It just won't let any more account be registered with an email address from that domain name.
