Most of you probbly dont know it and its kidna ofn for most people, but L. Spiro made an accual working auto aim on tribes that works for all weapons excluding mortar and gren launcher. It is only truely good when used with chain and laser, and is so accurate any newbie could use it and slaughter people.

So anyway, he posted a demo of hm using, i later started a thread for him to use it on ultra ren and own some newbies, so he did.

Anyway, they are totaly wroth seeing, its pretty funny cuz some newbie then accuses him of using happy mod. Later in the demo he changes the ping settings, and non stop kills guys till hes finaly voted off the server.

Ahh, so they finally made scripts that playt he game for you... just like trpg!  yippee!

btw... I fired up tribes last night.  The first server I joined had L. Spiro there.  It was mega lame! :-p

**adding;  It was the Elite Ren "anon" server that I think I saw him in.

**bah... I don't care what it's called; it just makes the game kind of lame to play when it's not about playing, but about having the best cheat package. :-p

It isn't a script..

It is a client-hook.

A nice one at that.

The only problem I had with such a thing was getting it to adjust to the bullet speeds. I see he found a nice way around that.

I found that rather amusing.

EDIT: BTW. Guys you might notice he is locking on to the base sometimes.. That is because he is also wallhacking.

accualy he isnt wall hacking at all, its beyond that

You could be on one corner of the map and him on the other and it would still track you if he allowed it to track at that distance. Cant really go into detail about how it works, but it has nothing to do with visuals.

And it dosnt play for him. He still controls when to shoot and where to go. And its only good for weapons with projectile speed of CG or faster, wich makes newbie mods like ultra ren prime ofr such things.

This is the kinda thing that would have killed tribes if it was released 3 years ago, since you can have it hot keyed. In a match LD would just sit ther with it on  and auto snipe any potential cappers, no matter how fast they came in or what rotue they used. Thank god tribes has been long since dead, and lets hope this thing dosnt happen to t:v.

It's harder to make aimbots for games like T:V because you can't make dll hooks for the unreal engine. Then again people have already made bots for the engine, I bet theres one for UT2003... just port it over to T:V  :?

I was just thinking that, since the engine is so old, and there are alot of dork gamers that play im sure there is something similar already out.

The only thing they can hope to do is prolong it and make it more dificult to accualy get it working on t:v. But in time if someone takes the time and effort to make it, it can be done.

Pretty sad that people make cheats and such. Ruins games. Kinda like how they stole the source engine or whatever, and how hl2 is being delayed because of it. They wanted it so bad and now, because of what they did, them, and everyone else must wait even longer.

even more sad that this type of cheat works on all fps type games. This kinda thing could flop CS for sure.

blah I was hoping it was .. a joke and only server side... how lame

no wonder why everone fukin snipes and cg's in arena.. christ .. for now on if im killed ... they cheat :P

plus theres... a cheat for mortars and grenades... auto beacon bull $hit..

did Spiro release it or what... how public is this $hit

He has common sense, but his name would be alot more known than it is and it would definately finish off tribes.  Its already nearly dead, this would be the final blow--no one wants to play a game that has such a small community AND a bunch of cheaters..

you can't stop hacking in the computer industry so therefore you can't stop cheating. you can hack anything because hacking is just looking at bits of information go by, and somewhere those bits of information are stored.  very much like the shell of a game, the information is stored so therefore it can be hacked once the data location is found and hence you end up with cheats.

Dont go crying cheater on everyone that owns you...

He hasnt released it to the public. There are VERY few people that have such things as this, since it takes an assload of knowledge and time to accualy get it working right, and it dosnt even work the same on diff servers since you have to change ping settings for every server u join  and such.

Plz dont go running around screaming cheater next time you get owned either, this cheat is VERY obvious and i have yet to encounter someone use this specific one other than L. Spiro himself. Even if other people did have it they prorbbly wouldnt use it more than just to mess around on a pub. Wich could in turn get them banned from the server and ruin thier tribes rep, wich they probbly dont want if they ever plan on playing t:v.

Also the mortar/gren cheat was fixed in a patch a while ago, but there is a way to bypass it. Its called Sheeva, and what it does is it literaly has auto beaconed spots on all the normal maps. These dont include dox, LT, pub, or open call maps, so there arnt many that it accualy works on. And it dosnt mean that you can non stop get perfect mortars, it was ment to be able to blind spam vital points on the map, such as the rocket turret on rain dance, the elf turrets in ice ridge, and stuff like that.

What i hate to see is people crying cheater. I have played tribes for over 5 years, 4 of wich i have played competativly. I have competed on OGL and TWL, competed in the 10-10 CTF, 5-5 LT - CTF and the team rabbit ladders and on the duel ladder. I know when someone is cheating since i know pretty much every cheat that exists in tribes and what to look for.

To me, i dont really give a rats ass if someones using a cheat on a pub, but if they use it in a match/scrim/pickup, then ill give them hell, thats if they are stupid enuff to use it in the first place. Tribes is dead anyway, if this was 3 years ago i would probbly care, but now, i really dont.
