Bah i was never good at dueling. I was average at most, but i still could mop the floor with the mod playing scum i ran into on duel servers. I competed on Tribes duel ladder for about 2 months and got within the 30's before i dropped the ladder. Wich isnt bad cuz i think at the time there were 500+ people competing on the ladder.

My main thing was CTF. I played HO and LD, and when it came to HO i know only like 4 people that are better than me, and 2 of them retired a year before i did. I retired like a year ago and havent really played tribes since then, and i doubt there are many good people left still playing, i just hope to god they dont mess up on t:v so i have a new game to play...

(btw why dont u idle on irc anymore ozzy?  :x )

When it comes down to it, tribes skill is measured by how good you are at base. Base is Tribes. And if you dont play competativly, never been in a competative clan, competing on a ladder, or dont even know what twl is, how good you say you are is meaningless. Because you dont know what being "good" really is till you play against the undisputed best tribes players in history. Only then can u measure how good you truely are. And without experiencing it, you just dont know wtf your talking about.

Whos to say whos the best, when they never played a competative map in thier life?. Im sure you can measure how good you are by how well you play against other players on a pub, but a pub is totaly different than a match, or even a scrim. I dunno how many of you play competativly, but for the ones that do im sure u know what i mean.
