Shorty Call it Quits!
« on: January 3, 2004 05:20 pm CST »
Shorty gave away some of his character's passwords today, not limited to Caffiene, ONE, and others.

He said, I quote "I am in my senior year and I am not going to let rpg take up my time"

Well Shorty, good luck with you last year in school.

I am sure many players of rpg will rejoice. Particle, can we have a party?

Ill admit that Shorty was a pain in the ass, and theres two things I have to say about him doin all this...

1. For a senior, he acted like 7 year-old...

and 2. He's finally learnin. Good for him :) now maybe he'll get some respect from others.

But yes, PARTAY LIKE IT'S J0 BIRTHDAY!!!!!! OW!!

No admin is going to help you steal a character, nitwit.

It's not your character, and you changed the password. That's the definition of character theft.

Silv, if I give you a safe, and you change the combo but forgot it, and you asked for a locksmith to open the safe for you, does that mean you are stealing it?  Uh..  no?

Think before you speak, it works wonders on the.. the uh..  making of the sense?

If the safe was any good, the locksmith wouldn't be able to open it. You would have to blow up the door.

Or delete the character.

He broadcasted the password. That's very different than him giving his character specifically to you. If you follow your own logic, then that character belongs to everyone that was present on the server. Therefore, you are guilty of 15-20 counts of character theft. Your choice, buddy.

My look on these sorts of situations:
- You can have the character, so long as you don't become a problem
- That character account is without tech support:  it doesn't transfer

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.

Your so retarded..  if someone gives their malarkey away, how is it being stolen?  HE GAVE OUT THE PASS TO WHOEVER WANTED IT, anyone in the server could have got on it and changed the pass and it would not have been theft.  You know why?  Because he.. gave it away?  That's right!  Good job silv.
