I retired from competition almost 2 years ago.

I'v opened tribes maybe a handfull of times in the past year, most of wich was to help people w/ trpg issues...

Tribes is beyond dead to me, i have no reason to play and nothing left to prove.

Anyway, i play XMP now. Im just kinda waiting for new competative games to come out. Such as t:v, ut2k4 and hl2. If t:v pulls a T2, hopefully one of the other games will be good.

rofl... if u call whoring/spamming/sniping/shielding mad skills... you're mistaken

theres no doubt... very good players who do play arena... but it takes little skill to whore while you're running around with a shield pack 0_O

Your wrong. Tribes Arena is one of the coolest mods in tribes. I play it and yes alot of people wh0re but the majority of people who play it use a variety of guns. Excluding the chaingun. Half of the maps are inside maps so not many people use the sniper rifle, and about basically everyone in tribes spams with grenades.

By the way Khorne do you play tribes arena? If so whats your name?

Base takes superior tactcis+teamwork and a whole lotta skill. There are no stratigys really, when u move up in the ladder it all leads to the same thing. If you know how to cluster, youll dominate on tribes CTF. Let it be 10-10 or 5-5.

And Khorne, wtf is reg base? Do you mean CTF? Cuz if your comapring CTF to arena, you really cant since they both take diff tactics and skills. I played arena 2-2 competativly on TWL, along with 5-5 and 10-10 CTF, 10-10 team rabbit, and competed on TWL's duel ladder. I know what im talking about, and if you did you wouldnt make such a comparison. Althought i doubt you ever played competativly so, its aight  :roll:

About a year or 2 back there was a guy that wanted to make the mod as a version for trpg.

Anyway... I hope you'll host or post it for us.  That would be cool.
