Pace Tracker.

Hey!

We need to add some kind of client side pace tracker that is a part of the mod download and does not require any other packs to work.

It resets at 0 when you press... becon.  It will track your total distance travelled until you reset it again.  Perhaps an option to turn it off/on in the k menu could be used as well, or have it replace the mission timer part of the HUD.

It would be very cool as far as using it for implementation in quests or giving directions to people who are lost.  It may have other uses too... who knows?

It would basically record the # of meters you travel as paces you have travelled.

I don't know how to do this though. :-D

Easy enough, however it would have to be server side.

yes, you would need the Vector::getDistance(%obj1, %obj2); function...

Well, I mean it can be controlled in the manner I spoke of by the client... I didn't use the correct language to describe the idea.

So... if it's easy... lets do it! :-D

(on a side note I'd just like to mention that a lot of the stuff I post here is not nescessarily for t1rpg, but possibly for future considereation in tVrpg)
