Lineage 2 is a mmorpg game thats currently in beta [so its free no p2p]

Basicly there are buncha diff classes, human, elf, dark elf, dwarfs, and orcs that you can choose from. You can choose to be a mage or fighter type and as you lvl you can difine your character better, such as going from orc fighter, to orc monk, to orc tyrant. The main thing thats appleaing about this game, is its 100% pvp, and uses the red tag system, You also can do castle seiges and fly dragons and have many other pets that can be used for mass pvp.

The game has english GUI, the site and signup is all in chinese so its confusing to sign up unless you use the guide i posted. You also need to get taiwan ID for the beta.

English beta will start once taiwan beta ends, so im mainly playing taiwan beta so i can learn the game, see if its good, and so i dont get owned on english beta :wink:

if you want me to make an account for you, ill be doing them tonight and tomorrow, after that im not making anymore since ill be too busy playing probbly

I have played VERY little of it, beta dosnt start till monday night. The highlights are the gfx, the style of the game, the many classes/races, pets, and pvp, 100%. Its a bit laggy cuz the servers far away, sometimes u get ganked by people way higehr lvl than you, there are some bugs as expected in any beta, umm dunno what else, its a typical beta, some stuff is great, some stuff sucks cuz it dosnt work/is buggy.

If you need an account msg me on irc or send me a pm with a working e-mail adress you use since i need it to accualy make it. Then ill make the account and log you in to make sure it works and send the info back to you so you can accualy play. If you lose your info dont ask me for it since i probbly wont remember (iv already made a couple dozen people accounts) After that you should be able to play using the account after d/ling and patching the game w/ no problems.

I posted a link above to TW that has a guide for making an account, dling the game and making it work, but if you arnt registered on TW i can give you the info with your account info aswell.

Im going to sleep now but will be up tomorrow to help people with thier accounts, the more english people we get the better

Quadace...  the lineage 2 open beta starts in the US soon--why are you having people sign up for the Taiwanese version?  I play in the US closed beta, I already have a level 30 dark elf oracle..

I would suggest waiting for the US open beta.  I played on a korean live server, and even though some of the GUI was in english, half of it wasn't.  Also the lag was horrible--I wouldn't suggest anyone play on the taiwanese server unless you want the same kind of lag.

Ya NA open beta will be starting after taiwan beta but there are alot of people playing in taiwan beta. This thread is pretty much for more people wanting to play but just unable to make an account.

The taiwan beta will probbly last only a month, probbly not any longer,  and NA beta will probbly start up a couple weeks after that, release is dated for april 4th. I could care less bout lag on a rpg and will be playing tonight for sure.

Don't put too much time into it (not trying to be sarcastic, but after reaching level 30 I stopped and realized I should have stopped sooner..).  Server clears at the end of january, so I sold my items for 35$ on paypal =)

Oh yeah, and I befriended the head GM which is cool--he gave me a bunch of good stuff.  Anyways, I should have stopped sooner because they don't have the level 40 classes in yet.

The most powerful classes right now are elven ranger (eventually a silver ranger) and the assassin (dark elf, eventually abyss walker).  The assassin is extraordinarily powerful, and the silver ranger can solo anywhere!

Looks neat, but I refuse to pay any type of user fee for any game that I ever play for the rest of my life. If that means that all games move into pay-to-play in the near future, then it looks like I won't be playing any type of video game any more. I feel that strongly about it.

Not trying to be mean, but a 16 year old kid with a 6$ an hour job could EASILY pay for everything he needs AND this game..

Get a job, work, and don't whine about money.  After all, it makes the world go round--if you don't believe in paying for things, you will learn the hard way that you have no choice o_o

I would pay even more than they actually charge to play lineage 2..  it's an excellent game.  Don't even tell me that you think it's morally wrong, or you just don't believe in it.  It's a tiny fee for the fun you can have with the game..
