Windows System Tray Clock

Tonight I will be using a program that will run an MP3 tomarrow morning to wake me up, a PC alarm clock.  Thats all fine and dandy, but there happens to be a problem with my laptop's alarm clock.

Seems that it tends to jump an hour (forward or backward, i forgot which way) and Im afraid that I might wake up an hour early or an hour late tomarrow :-P.

It wont be connected to the internet when up in my room, so using auto sync timing with atomic clock is out of the question.  Any ideas on how to lock down the time and date settings to keep them from jumping?

I have an old CD alarm clock, but the quality is horrible.  It started to annoy me after awhile, and Id rather wake up to good quality music via my computer's speakers.

There are quite alot of people out there that make computers strictly for music purposes only.  A P166 with quality sound card, a couple of mods, winamp, and a nice speaker system can create a kickass system for cheap.

i would place the annoying alarm where i can hear it, but i would have to get my lazy bum outta bed to turn it off.. cause if its annoying, u dont want it to continue, and when u get up outta bed, it helps wake you up... so its fulfilling its purpose :-\ i would place mine like that yet.. if its not right by my ear.. ill sleep through it o_o

ha ha ha remote... I still get up, turn my clock forward 15 minutes, set it, and go back to bed.  My clock is more than 4 feet away too, so I have to get up to change it :-D

I do the same.  I put the alarm clock on the floor if I go to bed too late, so that I have to do that.

This morning the clock messed up on my PC, and I was late for school.  


Lastwish, you're an Ipod owner like me.  Ive used the alarm feature before, and it actually played music when I told it to.  I cant figure out how to get it to play music again!  It just beeps.  What should I do?
