Greeting all, it has been a while sense I have posted, played or otherwise spoken to anyone.  I thought I would write a note just to let you know that I am still alive and kickn.
  Being un-employed is a rush.  I have had a great time playing with my son (Gotta love the leggos) and getting all that (ok, some of) the crap off my "Honey Do" list.
  Right now I am waiting for class to start.  I have scheduled my self into a coma it would seem.  I will Be taking Access Lvl 3, Mastering Access.  C#, ADO.Net, XML, Crystal Reports, SQL, T-SQL, HTML, VB.Net and .Net Framework. Did I forget anything?... Hmmm heck , i dunno...
At the end I will have my Certificat for... lets see...
MCSD, MCAD (as default as you complete MCSD) and with luck my MCDBA.
  I did find a place that wants to hire me on completion of my course in Alaska.  Scary huh? for $35/Hr and they will pay all of my moving expenses.  Got to love the moving expenses because I eat really well when im moving, lol.  (I'm 5 11" and 160 lbs, but I love to eat :)  Give me a few months and I'll write a few sneaky lines for ya :)

XANTH!!! sup man??? how ya been? thats good that youve been getting some time with your son, that always matters. Oh and have fun living in the cold most of the time.. i would hate living in alaska (i hate the cold thats why i live in texas hehe) but thats good that they would pay for all moving expenditures, well good luck with everything!!!

You would move to Alaska for $35 a hour?

I'm sorry, but there should be much better things much closer that don't require you to change your entire life.

I mean.. I just set up a network for a guy that makes around $150 an hour writing software. This is no BS, he showed me the invoice.

Oh, and I know it wasn't your fault because I did it =)

yea seriously... 35 bucks an hour is nice.. but not much when u have to endure cold 24/7 and all that other stuff, i bet there are some people in the city that could use you, try searching for a better job once u finish the courses, im sure there are alot of companies willing to pay you good to keep you here

Well I found a job for a MCSD.
I'm not sure I can survive at 80 - 100k/ year.  Might be a little tight! NOT!!
They also offer apprenticeships at Microsoft.  Heck of a way to get in the door.  
I will probably be the guy you are cussing at when an application fails and the pop-up windows says: "Error # 911, Call someone who gives a SH.."

P.S. Microsoft home base is only 45 min drive from my house. :)

As a point of history:  Our last server clear was on September 27, 2004.  That is 4963 days ago (13.6 years) as of today.

If you're visiting after a long hiatus and have forgotten your password, try emailing me via the support form at http://www.pcrpg.org.

If your character is from after the 2004 clear but appears to have been deleted or reset, chances are it was caught in one of the inactive account purges over the years.  Backups were made before such events, so try the support form.
