FOR those who use routers

I am on a router for the time being and it takes me quite a few times to get into the game does anyone know a better way to get in faster that doesnt involve anything to do with me getting off the router

Dunno man, I'm behind a router and I've never had a problem getting in game.

What kind of connection do you have?

I am one a cable connection that is why i dont get it do you go through tribes to get on the game or do you use another porgram to get into the game?>

I go through Tribes.. maybe it has something to do with your firewall?

Turning it off,  or going into options and allowing the program Tribes to connect to the internet.

but it is in the router i dont know how to get into the router and let themn game through it is a internal firewall not a extrenal

It could also be your computer too.  On my old PII 350, it would take around 4 minutes to connect to the PCRPG server (on DSL), and it would frequently time out before I was able to fully load.  Just a guess as far as your situation goes...

maybe its not your router because 56k gets me in the game in like 20 seconds...
try
tribes.exe -rpg mod

so TRPG can run properly...

(even tho i think i am wrong)

Make sure ports 28000-28009 are open.. I think those are the ports..

What kind of router do you have?  I'll help you..  I went through hell with my router but I finally figured out what to do.
