Computer System Specs...?

ok... well, with the help of susan, we have put together a very nice computer system and I was just wanting to get some insight from you guys about it...

so:

AMD Athlon64 3200+
Asus K8v Deluxe
1GB Kingston DDR400
ATI 9600XT 128MB
120GB Maxtor 7200RPM
Antex Full Tower
600Watt PS

for a little over $800.... any comments or suggestions?

U need an AT harddrive. They are 10000 RPM. Other then that Pretty nice, for the price.

Intel Celeron 466 MHz
PC Partner AT motherboard
256 MB PC100 RAM
Geforce FX5200 AGP 128 MB
60 GB 7200 RPM HDD
32x12x48x JustLink CD-R/W
Windows 2000 Professional SP4

Can't really say for sure what the price is, as I didn't assemble it all at once. The parts range from a shiny brand new Geforce to an ISA Sound Blaster 16 I pulled out of our 486. ;)

they do have 15000rpm scsi drives....

Can I post specs of the system im gonna build?

The system im building:

Gigabyte motherboard
2.8ghz P4 w/ HT
512 PC3200
Radeon 9600XT
40-60gb HDD with SATA
XDreamer II case (i think they are pretty)
350w PS


Laptop I got:

2ghz desktop P4
768mb PC2100
32mb Rage mobile
DVD rom drive that i just broke

I'd go with an nVidia card simply for quality over fps.  MSI makes some good ones...
