I realize that you guys want more quests on the server, and this brought me to the conclusion to ask you all for reinstatement as the server Questmaster. I also realize that in the past that I overdid some things, *looks over at GE* and I completely apologize. I also didn't understand the server's rules nor did I really know anyone. through the last couple of months I have come to know quite a few of you and would love to undertake the responsability of continuing as the server's questmaster. I understand the rules completely and think I could provide the server with the much needed boost that it has requested in the past few weeks. Sincerely,

I suppose your shorthand for punctuation is either a typo (granted an honest mistake made even by the most "intelligent" people) or in fact a creative forshortening of the word punctuation.

This suggests, by your implied definition, that you are of "average" internet "intellect".

Yep.  You caught the intentional mistake.

This is all in reference to being "anal about things".

My point is that relating the intelligence of some one based on their punctuation (or typos, as the example I used here) is an anal thing to do when the people who use them are attempting to express some form of visual or audio similarity to how their post was made and how it made them feel.

Judging some one based on their use of this form of casual punctuation is not a fair deal, especially when we all make stupid mistakes any way at one time or an other.

I am just tired of people insulting other people based on some simple casual internet writings (or mistakes.)

My point is not that everyone who uses these acronyms is a dumbass; rather, those who use them as punctuation at the end of every sentence fragment usually lack the creativity or vocabulary to get their point across with words. There's nothing wrong with pointedly using them in a reaction. Using them as a reaction to your own post is foolish and tells me that the person lacks the intellect or sense of humour to make things funny without blatantly saying so.
