Dont your parents/grandparents care about having an ugly wire running out of a window and around the house?

Heh (this is at my dads).  Just as long as I pick the wire up when I leave or when we have arranged company over, its ok that I do it (I guess).  I never really asked them if I could do it.  The idea just sprung into my mind, and before I knew it I was running back and forth behind the bushes running cables.

OMG I just noticed, but you have that forking game system next to your laptop. I forgot what it's called, but I used to have it. I remember it was pretty sweet, and I had a game called "Red Alert" or something like that...

I like the set-up but just a word of advice. If the wireing in the house is as old as you say it is (possibly old aluminum wireing) you do run a high risk of a fire hazard due to the outdoor elements. Just keep a close eye on it. I have seen that happen before and its not a pretty sight. Good luck!

Yeah I took a few precautions after taking those pictures.  When I am away, I unplug the main power source.  I also shrink-wrapped the connection between the two electrical cords, then cusioned it against some rubber from an old mouse pad against the house.  That way, If ever a problem arise on the outside, it wont be the house burning...
